Ebb is a tracker, not a doctor.
It helps you keep a clear record. Your doctor helps you decide what it means.
What Ebb does
Ebb helps you record what you notice: symptoms, your Cycle, HRT, medicines, supplements and blood test results. It organizes them into charts and a report, so you can share them with your doctor if you choose.
What Ebb doesn’t do
Ebb doesn’t diagnose any condition, tell you your stage of menopause, give scores, predict periods or menopause, recommend treatments or doses, or interpret your test results. Charts and reports show only what you’ve logged. For blood tests, Ebb repeats only the values and the reference range printed on your lab report, and shows how many results are within or outside the lab’s reference range. Discuss your results with your doctor. When two things are logged on the same day, that doesn’t mean one caused the other.
Not a medical device
Ebb is intended for general wellness and personal record keeping. It isn’t intended or marketed as a medical device, and it hasn’t been assessed, cleared or approved as one by a regulator, such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the EU Medical Device Regulation, by the UK MHRA, by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) or by New Zealand’s Medsafe. [Legal review: confirm this intended-purpose wording for each regime before publishing. Don’t say Ebb is “exempt” or “FDA compliant”.]
Talk to your doctor
Always check with your doctor or another qualified health professional before making medical decisions, and about any symptoms that worry you. Don’t start, stop or change a medicine or HRT dose because of something you see in Ebb. Don’t delay getting care because of it.
Emergencies
Ebb isn’t for emergencies. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number now: 911 in the US, 112 in the EU, 999 or 112 in the UK, 000 in Australia, 111 in New Zealand.
Information and sources
